Grace Lovelass is an operatic mezzo-soprano whose roles include Witch/Mother in Hansel & Gretel and Tisbe in La Cenerentola (both Opera Kipling/Camden Fringe), Romeo in I Capuleti e i Montecchi and Dido in Dido & Aeneas (both Red Earth Opera), the Sorceress in Dido & Aeneas (Somerset Opera), and Marthe Schwerdtlein in Faust with Opéra de Baugé. A versatile entertainer, she has written and produced her own comedy music show, Ballgowns & Bib Shorts – the musical memoir of an opera-singing triathlete, which recently premiered at Dorchester Arts. Grace made her Edinburgh Fringe debut with musical Are you worthy? in 2023 following acclaim received in lead roles with Brighton Theatre‘s Exit the Queen and Cocky and the Tardigrades. Grace studied opera at the Associated Studios and has a degree in Classics from King’s College London. She is a dancer, yogi and long-distance triathlete, and is frequently booked as a public speaker, talking about her life as a singer and two-time IRONMAN finisher.
